Data CoLAB has received certification from the Directorate-General for Employment and Labour Relations (DGERT).
The organization is now qualified to provide training services in the areas of management and administration, personal development, and computer science.
Nuno Malta, Director of Management and Finance at Data CoLAB, emphasizes that “with this recognition by DGERT, and the certification of Data CoLAB as a training entity, we will be able to embody the mission of establishing and operating the Portuguese Data Academy, thereby enabling the training and qualification of individuals in key areas of Data CoLAB’s activity — including the development of new professional profiles such as the Chief Data Officer.”
DGERT is an autonomous central service of the direct State administration, aimed at supporting the development and implementation of policies related to employment, training, professional certification, and labor relations.
It is DGERT’s responsibility to coordinate the system for the regulation of professions and the recognition of professional qualifications, as well as the certification of training entities, the promotion of social dialogue, and the monitoring of labor relations.
